1-1-       Objectives of the Training Course

At the end of this communication training course, our participants should be able to:

  • Get rid of the simplistic and misleading perception that oral/verbal communication can be the key to conveying a message across
  • Get a grip on the various meanings of communication
  • Understand the 4 types of communication and how to use them
  • Get a clearer idea and more in-depth insight of the purpose, importance and principles of communication
  • Use good and effective communication skills
  • Have a very command of modern communication tools that will help them capture and stay in connection with their audience
  • Develop communication skills which can help them avoid unnecessary conflict or strife and train them how to find a compromise without compromising themselves.

1-2-       Main focus of the training course material

  • Experiment a communication skills quiz case study– Participants are encouraged to identify their communication skills and question their effectiveness and then discuss in groups their communication practices.
  • Identify and avoid negative communication experiences– Participants are told to focus upon their own negative experiences in order to avoid them occurring within their own communication policies.
  • How to effectively implement the lessons drawn from the course and case study – Understanding how good communication can avoid and/or alleviate a multitude of issues that can be detrimental to their leadership or management effectiveness
  • Set up communication lines within their teams– Both formal and informal communication requirements. Highlighting issues and blockages while setting their communication in motion.
  • Ascertain whether participants have adequate communication skills and determine how well they communicate with others.

It is important to emphasize that this session is interactive and although some elements of the session may come across as standard, the content allows us to deliver it in such a way that participants are constantly involved and active.
